Mrs. Beatrice Ornstein (nee Lipson) died Tuesday at her home in Parsippany following a long illness. She was 79.
Born in New York, NY, she had been a resident of Newark, Maplewood, and West Orange before moving to Parsippany in 1998.
Mrs. Ornstein had earned her Bachelor and Master Degrees in education from Kean College in Union.
She was an educator with the City of Newark Board of Education for 26 years, retiring in 1990.
Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Seigal and her husband Donald of Lake Hiawatha and two granddaughters, Jenna russo and Briana Seigal.
At Bea's request all services are private.
