Mrs. Minnie G. Terry (nee Garlock) died Sunday afternoon, May 17, 2009 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Morris Plains following an extended illness. She was 102.
Born in Crawford City, PA., she was raised in Ohio, and had been a resident of Somerville, NJ, and Brownsville, TX., before moving to Morris Plains in 1998.
As a young woman, Mrs. Terry attended the Spencerian Business College in Ohio.
A homemaker, she had been a member of the League of Women Voters, and had been active in Square Dancing while living in Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ewing W. Terry in 1996.
Survivors include her son John W. Terry and his wife Joan of Rockaway Township; two grandchildren, Kim Kramer and Adam Terry; and one great-grandson, Ryan Kramer.
