Rinaldo F. Carmeli, known by all as Bob, died Friday, June 5, 2009 at Morristown Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. He was 74.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he had lived in New York, NY before coming to Parsippany 43 years ago.
A veteran of the United States Army, Mr. Carmeli earned his BA in business administration from Baruch College at C.U.N.Y in 1968.
He had worked as a systems analyst and a vice president at the Goldman Sachs Company in New York, NY for over 20 years before retiring 20 years ago.
Mr. Carmeli was a member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church in Parsippany and the Parsippany-Troy Hills Republican Club.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Carmeli.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Sonia (nee Laguer); a son, Eric Carmeli and his wife Colleen; a daughter, Audrey Carmeli; a sister, Ann Marie Devlin; and two granddaughters, Jennifer and Amelia Carmeli.
