Marie Farinella (nee Zito) died Saturday morning, July 4, 2009 at the Hospice at St. Joseph's/Wayne General Hospital in wayne. She was 99.
Marie was born in Mistretta, Sicily, Italy, and came to the United States as a child with her father Vincenzo Zito, her brothers, Joseph and James; and her sister, Sebastiana.
She worked as a seamstress for various clothing firms in New York City and the Passaic area.
Mrs. Farinella was predeceased by her husband Joseph.
She is survived by her son, Morris and his wife Annette of Towaco; two grandchildren, Maria and Joseph; and two great-granddaughters, Grace and Katie Farinella.
