Mr. Madhusudan Gandhi died suddenly, Tuesday, August 4, 2009 while vacationing on a cruise ship off Sitka, Alaska. He was 73.
Born in Sehara, India, he came to the United States in 1985, settling in New York, NY. He had lived the last 8 years in Parsippany.
Mr. Gandhi had worked as a pharmacy clerk with Dwayne Reade Drugs Stores in New York. He retired in 1999.
He was a member of the Indian Seniors Club in Whippany.
Survivors include his wife, Usha (nee Parikh); a son, Jignesh "Jim" Gandhi of Parsippany; two daughters, Lina Dharia of India and Paru Dharia of Wayne; two sisters, Saroj Dharia and and Urmila Sheth both of India; and five grandchildren.
