Mrs. Jacqueline Gail Artof died suddenly Tuesday evening, August 25, 2009 at her home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany. She was 69.
Born in Morristown, she had lived in Perth Amboy before coming to Lake Hiawatha 38 years ago.
A homemaker, Mrs. Artof had been a member of the Lake Hiawatha Jewish Center, Cancer Care, and served as a class parent in the Parsippany Schools.
Survivors include her husband Stephen M. Artof; two sons, Dr. Mitchell Chorost and his wife Susan of Old Westbury, NY and Bryan Chorost of Lake Hiawatha; a sister, Sheila Shapiro of Bradford, CT; and two grandsons, Zachary and Jona Chorost.
