Uttamlal C. Gandhi died Monday evening, October 12, 2009 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. He was 78.
Born in Navsari, India he immigrated to the United States in 1987, settling in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany.
Mr. Gandhi had worked as a shop keeper in India before his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Gajaraben; two sons, Mahesh Gandhi and and Rajesh Gandi; three daughters, Gitaben Bodalia, Bhartiben Ghayal, and Hemlata Parikh; a brother, Thakorlal Gandhi; and nine grandchildren.
