Obituary of James C. DeZao III

James C. DeZao III, 64, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, March 20, 2024 at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Orange, NJ, Mr. DeZao had been a resident of Montville Township, NJ for the last 35 years.

He earned his Bachelors Degree from Seton Hall University in 1981 and his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall Law in 1985.

Mr. DeZao was the founder and proprietor of the Law Offices of James C. DeZao in Parsippany for nearly 40 years.

Jim was the consummate "family man." His children were the center of his world.

He is survived by his five beloved children, James C. DeZao IV and his wife, Jessica of Towaco, Francis A. DeZao and his wife, Kristen of Morristown, Anthony J, DeZao and his wife, Melisa of Denville, Nicolette D. DeZao of Montville, and Gregory Barnish and his wife, Gianna of Boonton; his dear mother, Barbara DeZao of Montville; three loving sisters, Louann Dostal and her husband, Bruce of Towaco, Theresa Campbell and her husband, Scot of Montville, and Christine DeZao of Montville; and his three cherished grandchildren, James C. V, Sienna, and Jackson DeZao.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Sunday, March 24, from 12pm to 8pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Rd., Lake Hiawatha (Parsippany). The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, March 25, 10:00am at Mount Carmel R.C. Church, Orange. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
