Obituary of Lizyane T. Diaz

Lizyane Thais Diaz (nee Roldao) passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024 in Fairfield, NJ. She was 45 years young.

Born in Governador Valadares, Brazil, she immigrated to the United States as a child with her family. She lived in West Caldwell and attended James Caldwell High School. She established residence in Fairfield 25 years ago where she lived with her family.

Lizyane was a fun-loving person who loved life, constantly filling her home with laughter. She was an avid dancer, animal lover, amazing mother, dedicated daughter, sister and loyal friend. Most of all, Lizyane loved helping people, and made everyone she knew feel important.

She is survived by her husband, Abel Diaz; two beloved children, Larissa Roldao and Isaac Diaz; her loving parents, Vicente and Eliane Saraiva Roldao; and three cherished siblings, Villyane Roldao, Vicente Roldao and Samara Wayans.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, February 22, 2024, 6:00pm to 9:00pm at S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha (Parsippany), NJ. A prayer service will be celebrated at 8:30pm during the visitation. Private cremation will follow on Friday.
